Every Saturday's evening,
Rome is teaching Samurai sword fighting class in Los Angeles.

Samurai Sword Fighting (Tate) is not Kendo or Iaido.
It is based on several different kinds of martial arts.
I will teach you Samurai style sword fighting techniques using wooden sword (similar to those seen in the film "The Last Samurai"). This training is for stage, film, fitness, or for just having fun! If you like Samurai films, you should enjoy this class

Rome Kanda won FIRST PLACE in the Take Out Comedy Competititon, claiming his throne as the Top Asian Comic in New York.

The panel of judges, which included many well-known figures in New York's comedy community was taken by Rome's original blend of improv skills, impersonations, charismatic stage presence and his unique perspectives on his native Japan and his adopted country, America.

As the winner, Rome's next step will be to head off to beautiful Waikiki Beach, Hawaii where he will be performing in front of a crowd of 10,000 comedy fans.

After taking the title of "Funniest Man in New York" in the WorldAsia National Comedy Talent Search, Rome Kanda was sent off to lovely Waikiki Beach to bring some of his unique brand of Stand-Up comedy to the Hawaiian people. Despite rainy weather, the beach was packed for Rome's performance. A huge crowd of comedy fans enjoyed his humor and a great time was had by all. In addition to meeting many new fans and friends, Rome came into contact with several Hawaiian talent agents. Could a return to Hawaii be in the works for the future? Stay tuned to see…..
